Who we are

Wares is a trade name of Cow Yoga LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. "We", "us", and "our" in this policy all refer to Cow Yoga LLC doing business as Wares.

This policy covers the Wares website and waitlist. When the Wares product launches, data you put into it will be covered by the product's own privacy policy and terms.

Cow Yoga LLC's general Privacy Policy (opens in new tab), which applies across our products, may also apply to your use of Wares. Where the two conflict, this policy takes precedence for anything specific to Wares.

What we collect

• Waitlist signup: your full name, work email, and company name.
• Emails you send us: whatever you include when you reach out directly.
• Website analytics: aggregate page visit data via Plausible. No cookies and no individual tracking.
• Server logs: IP address, browser type, and referring URL, retained for up to 30 days for security diagnostics only.

How we use it

• Send you Wares updates, your early access invitation, and launch news.
• Respond to questions you send us.
• Understand, in aggregate, who's interested in Wares so we build the right things.

We don't use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

Sharing

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers needed to run Wares, and only what they need to do their job. We may also disclose information where the law or a court order requires it, and we'll tell you where we're permitted to and it's practical. If Cow Yoga LLC or Wares is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer to the new owner, who must honor this policy or tell you if that changes.

Retention

We keep waitlist information until you ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it after Wares launches. Server logs are cleared within 30 days. Aggregate analytics data has no personal information to delete.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS and limiting access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and you can opt out of emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message we send or by emailing us. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity first. We'll respond within 30 days, or up to 45 if the law allows an extension and we tell you why. We may decline a request where the law allows. If you disagree, reply with the word "appeal" and we'll review it. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.

If you're in the EU or UK, you may also have rights under GDPR or UK GDPR, including data portability and the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. We collect waitlist information based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We're based in the United States, so your information will be stored and processed there.

Cookies

Our analytics (Plausible) are cookie-free. The only cookies on this site are functional ones set by the CAPTCHA on our waitlist form, which we host ourselves. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

Wares is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us some, email [email protected] and we'll delete it.

Updates

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where practical, email waitlist members.
